About Me
Beginning his career as a Digital media Designer before the dawn of the 21st Century, Jag subsequently learned dozens of programming languages. A seasoned veteran of User Interface (UI) System Design, he is also a bona fide Senior Web Developer, Business Analyst and UX Architect.

Jag studied Software Engineering and Anthropology, at the same time unbeknownst to his mother who thought he was becoming a doctor. He has also worked in Digital Animation, Digital media, and Computer Graphics both in an online and offline capacity.

After learning the digital ropes at several digital media companies, Jag spent three years as a UI instructor and course designer at Centennial College along with The Design and Technology Academy in Toronto. Subsequently, he worked as a Senior Java Developer, responsible for all aspects of the development process, from conception and design to construction and implementation.

However, he is not purely a digit-head, no. His invaluable combo of creative understanding and high-tech skill enable Jag to quickly assess interactive projects for both business and creative potential.

Jag’s work has helped win a Cannes Cyber Lion (Bronze), as well as achieved Finalist status at the equally-prestigious One Show Interactive Awards in London. He also volunteers his time to judge digital events, as well as having lent a technical hand with community TV and Webgrrls, a women’s organization committed to helping professional women in their careers.

Pepper spray and tasers are in increasing use by both police and military, and more exotic non-lethal weapons such as heat rays are in the works. At TEDxCanberra, ethicist Stephen Coleman explores the unexpected consequences of their introduction and asks some challenging questions.
How do you remember where you parked your car? How do you know if you're moving in the right direction? Neuroscientist Neil Burgess studies the neural mechanisms that map the space around us, and how they link to memory and imagination.
