  We recently used Malibu investments and were very disappointed. We had found a beautiful apartment in English Bay with a view of Granville Island on their website, we paid a considerable amount to secure this for 3 weeks. When we arrived we were given a ground floor townhouse with a view of a construction site in Yaletown with no explanation. We were in constant email contact right up to arriving, even an email the day before to say we had to pay an extra $40 for arriving after 6pm, but no mention that we weren't going to be staying in the booked apartment. After much calling and emails to complain, I was told to read the fine print which states they were in their right to do this, I was also offered a $200 rebate for our next stay with them...Ahh, NO Thanks!
By the way, it would have been cheaper for us to have stayed in a hotel, and you would at least get what you have paid for.   I haven't tried these yet but they seem a very viable and cheaper alternative to hotels. Defenitely will try soon.

Corporate & Executive Suites
Malibu Investments offers corporate travelers fully furnished high end suites.The furnished rentals are complete right down to the utensils. You get double the size of a hotel room but pay half as much. Services that you normally pay for such as internet connection, parking, phone calls, etc, come complimentary with the corporate rentals. Our suites are available for short term such as 3 days, up to long term for yearly leases. We offer suites from one bedrooms up to 4,000 sq f, 3 bedroom waterfront homes in prestigious neighbourhoods such as Coal Harbour in Vancouver. Once you stay with us, you will never go back to staying at hotels again! |
