I’ve been a long time resident of Brampton, Ontario.  It’s truly a vibrant city, experiencing exponential growth.  One of the projects going on in the city right now is the renovation and expansion of the Bramalea City Centre.  Located at the intersection of Dixie Road & Queen Street, this mall features more than 280 retailers, services, and restaurants.  I frequent this facility almost daily as my gym, Good Life Fitness is located there.

The $102 million, 3-year construction project will create 417,292 square feet of underground parking space, add an additional 323,415 square feet of retail area on two levels, and relocate loading docks and chiller units.  It has been claimed that this will be the 2nd biggest mall in Canada!  Construction is expected to be complete by August 2010.
