I love fashion; shoes, clothing, handbags, accessories, the works.  I guess that’s why I find myself blogging about it all the time. There’s something about the way fashion acts as its own character in a girl’s life – kind of like NYC as the fifth character in Sex and the City.  So, naturally, discovering cool new brands is one of the biggest thrills for me. It’s like adding a new weapon to your arsenal, or perhaps a nice shiny instrument to your toolbox.

One of the most kick-ass shoe collections I’ve recently discovered is The Art Company.  Their collection is all hand crafted in La Rioja, Spain, resulting in some seriously quality goods. This is no shoe scam either, like Camper who charges “Made in Spain” prices for a product mostly made in an assembly line elsewhere.

The Art Company features mens and ladies casual kicks, with a truly original look.  Some of my top picks from their Spring/Summer 2010 line are below, but check out the website yourself to see what looks are for you.

Here are a few that will help you shake off the February blues and which shouldn’t be too hard to replicate at a much cheaper price…
