So what is Twitter?

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known as followers.

"Simply put it’s a micro-blogging tool that lets you post small snippets of text on the internet"

The following are tips we suggest to all our clients that have had success for business growth its not a hard and fast formula and every tip fits every. Our goal is to get your thinking and twittering.

Tip 1
Have a strategy - keep the end in mind when tweeting for biz, remember its about you and your Business.

Tip 2
Reinforce your Image use your company name or a link to your business blog or business listing in your tweet, send users to where your content is on the internet, where can someone find your business easily and contact you directly?

Tip 3
Become a trusted source of on-point biz information stay focused 85% of the time, remember its about growing your business and generating leads, sprinkle in personal info when possible, use  relevant "keywords" in your tweet.

Tip 4
Drive traffic to your Content 15% of our traffic to our Blog on ibizbook is from Twitter. Our marketing goal is to get found on the internet, having a website is not enough; instead you have to be an active member in an online business community. Your corporate website is where good ideas go to die, because it’s just not search-able.

Tip 5

Don’t forget to "Engage" Respond back to people - people respond to people
Try to use complete thoughts in your response - promotes wider conversation about your business - start a discussion and others will jump in and converse.

Good tips, Twitter is a great tool for business as it allows you to connect with your customers, suppliers and other relevant contacts. Tip #4 is the most important.

Very concise and informative . . . it will take a while for new Tfolks checking Twitter to see any benefit straight away. I know I was one of them. But I have seen the possibilities and the runnings of how this works under the hood. If you wanna grow as a business then this is certainly one of the tools that can get you ahead!

That’s a great question.

Not everyone is an early adopter of technology and that’s perfectly OK.

The facts however are that more and more of these online tools like Twitter and ibizbook allow you to communicate to a larger audience then ever before. The benefit is that for the first time in history you can market yourself or your business effectively at no cost.

The only cost is time, these technologies are changing the way we communicate with each other. It is a huge change in Human Behavior our patterns of interaction are so different now then a few years ago. I think ibizbook is the only Consolidated social Media product that integrates everything a business would need to promote themselves.

If time is money and you can not commit to Bloging Twittering, and Youtubeing etc etc then you need a social Media Account management service. We at Alluvion offer this as a service to our clients and I think ibizbook offers something similar.

Thanks and keep the questions coming.

Keeping Up With New Marketing Methods
Corporate Suites
I feel like I'm getting old...

When you're younger it seems to be so much easier to keep up with all the new fads. Now that I'm getting a little older (still early 30's) I don't like change too much. I feel like as soon as I get caught up on twitter then there is a whole new thing to learn.

Is there any easier way to keep up with all the new marketings fads to come and go?
